About the Author
Rosalyn is a proud mom, military wife and author whose story honors awareness, acceptance and adaptability. Her inspiration for the story is her oldest daughter, who lives with a brain injury. Her hope is to create a world where kids like her are truly seen!
Our Story
Our family’s journey is rooted in love, resilience, and a deep faith in God. As the wife of a dedicated United States Air Force Officer, I’ve learned the strength that comes from service, sacrifice, and trusting God’s plan. Together, we are raising three incredible children — Mia, Luna, and Lucas — each of whom brings their own light into our lives.
Mia, my inspiration for this book, suffered a brain injury at birth. From her very first days, she has faced challenges that most people never see. Yet through every obstacle, God has given her courage, determination, and a spirit that refuses to be defined by limitations. While she continues to navigate daily struggles, she also teaches us — about patience, perspective, empathy, and the true meaning of strength.
This book was born from her story. With gratitude to God, we share her voice to help others see the world through her eyes and create a space where inclusion, understanding, and belonging can flourish.
